The newly-built China Central Television (CCTV) Headquarters is surrounded by rusty scaffoldings, following a heavy fire at the adjacent Television Cultural Centre last year, in the Central Business District on February 23, 2010 in Beijing, China. The CCTV building complex remains to be closed nowadays because of safety concerns. Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) are the architects of the futuristic CCTV building.
